Dear (Contact First Name),

Another Hawaiian monk seal was found shot dead on a beach in Kauai, Hawaii.  The latest victim was a pregnant mother seal and her unborn pup, a hugely tragic loss to this critically endangered species.  A four-year-old male washed up nearby a month ago, also shot.

Hawaiian monk seals are one of the most endangered animals on earth -- fewer than 1,200 live in the wild.  With numbers steadily dropping due to starvation and eroding habitat, the monk seal now faces a more direct threat to its survival -- man.

More must be done to save these iconic creatures-before it's too late.  Join MCBI as it works to save the Hawaiian monk seal and protect it from senseless killings.

Take the next step: Your tax-deductible donation of $35 or more will support MCBI's programs to save the endangered Hawaiian monk seal and restore its vital habitat in the Hawaiian Islands.  Together, we can save the Hawaiian monk seal from extinction.

Please, give today. The seal needs your help.
Urgently,
